  Pin 1 = IC; Pin 2 = K (cathode); Pin 3 = G (grid); Pin 4 = H (heater); Pin 5 = H (heater); Pin 6 = G (grid); Pin 7 = IC; Pin 8 = IC; Pin 9 = P (plate).

Description: The 6S4A is a high perveance triode using small button 9-pin miniature construction. Designed for 600 mA series heater receivers, intended as vertical deflection amplifier in TV. Heater thermal characteristics controlled to minimize voltage surges during warm-up. Except for control of heater thermal characteristics, its characteristics are identical to the 6S4.
