Ultralinear
Also called: ultralinear, ul, distributed load
Pentode/tetrode output stage where the screen grid is connected to a tap on the output transformer (typically 40-43% from the plate). Lower distortion than pentode mode, more power than triode mode. Hafler-Keroes 1951.
